btw, about the T39, i have a friend who got gprs' t39 and is now using it on smart's network, has the same firmware but does not have your problem (yet)
he was chatting with me yesterday via t39m + DRS-10 from Sariaya, Quezon.

(joke lang to ah) I like both Palm & PPC - it really depends what your needs are. I am personally waiting for the Palm OS 5 or I might consider the Ipaq 3870

I really couldn't understand why palm referred to ipaq as tranferring to the dark side when the 505 was the darker screen compared to those which had the ppc at that time.
As I mentioned in the other forum, I stopped using my Palm when I experienced some real iPAQing! (mods, you are free to delete this
if it offends anyone)

@dlreyes - I really don't know how the referring to PPC as the "Dark Side" (as in Star Wars) started but what I know is that its just a joke used by some Palm users. Some have started with Palm but have eventually moved on to PPC.
