yes I have flash lite on my w800, you will need to regress the firmware somehow. Or get a k600 or other...
Its loads better than an animated gif, I have written a fully functional stocks and shares tracker that gets live charting info and then writes the chart dynamically - try doing that with a gif! Its available as a free download via
www.flashcell.com
The point is with flash lite you can code - a gif is a gif.
I have got some screensavers and wallpapers, stuff like fireflies with random movement, a analogue clock, and a few virtual worlds that have random events. Unfortunately I cant distribute for free at the moment.

Where can I download something that will absolutely BLOW MY MIND and make me love Flash? I never tried it on the phone so...; still, I don't think I would like it too much.

well thats because they are 'wallpapers'. The stock app is an application style use of flash lite, then there is games which follow their web equilivent in being simple 'casual' games.
Not sure quite what you are expecting to blow your mind with a 600kb plugin on a mobile phone??
If you are talking about advanced gaming then thats just not the purpose of flash lite. Thats the realm of c++ and j2me.
There are plenty of casual games and other applications at the macromedia exchange (in fact u wont find one wallpaper there) but they are aimed at Nokia handsets. I cant be bothered to go into the reason behind that. So they wont really work that well on your SE.
The point is that flash lite is about as far from animated gifs as j2me is from html. Hope that clears it up.

So... what I'm asking is; the LINK to the greatest SWF available for the phone; just to say: "Oh... this really is good and something I couldn't acomplish using an animated GIF / J2ME language"... is there any?

hi, I looked at the FlashCell site.
With a W900 in the mail im trying to investigate SOMETHING I can get that will make some use of Flash Lite support
The little landscapes are so cute, and very cool!
Will they all work as screensavers, or wallpapers, on w900?
If so, im excited to have found something!
But, when I download, there are just PDFs. Are these not available for download?
Are there any other good resources for Flash Lite media?

Firstly the new Nokia phones (N and E series) will prove how good Flash Lite is for mobile phones. The problem with the SE implementation of Flash Lite is that it doesnt run full screen and the performance is really poor - thats why there hasnt been hardly any content produced for it. The Nokia Flash Lite version runs fullscreen (ala Java or C) and has good performance. So the future for Flash Lite on SE phones really is an unknown quantity.

Its not a question of couldn't accomplish ....its more a question of how much it would cost you to accomplish the same in J2ME, C++ or whatever. The economics behind content production determine what gets produced. So with Flash Lite you get lots of really cool simple apps and games because they are relatively quick (cheap) to produce. Apart from that Flash Lite apps tend to look a lot better too.

I'll might be setting something up shortly to allow people to download them - however for some reason SE have disabled the use of Flash Lite as wallpaper/screensaver on all models from w550 onwards. For those models Flash Lite only works as a browser plugin. So they cant be used on your w900. Sorry
In terms of other resources try looking at the macromedia exchange:

But even if you do find something the performance will be pretty bad - the w900 is the worst performing phone (in terms of flash lite) I have ever seen! So if you are going to use content probably best look for non-animated content such as network applications.
