hmm...I read somewhere on an earlier thread that ppl who have flashed their k750 to 800s have got better quality photos...but other ppl say its due to the rumoured CCD inside the w800s..

hmmm...maybe,but very people are saying, the hardware of k750 and w800 are similiar, but maybe is of the ccd.
But the new firmware of the k750 have less quality in photos, but i think the difference is not noticeable like that.

There are no CCD module in W800, stop continuing spreading false roumours will you.
The images posted above are very good indeed, but if you look a litle closer at them you will clearly see that they have been manipulated/enhanced in an imageeditor which makes them unsuitable for proper evaluation/comparison against the K750.
If people want to show off their pictures to compare quality against the K750 they should post unedited pictures. Otherwise its cheating.
Noisefilters have been used to remove noise, sharpenfilters has been used to enhance sharpness afterwards and possibly also other enhancements like level optimisation etc has been used.
Ill prove it.
Heres a 200% blow up of the datestamps in the W800 pictures, compared to how datestamps should look if it was an unedited picture.
Noticed how the datestamps of the w800 are blurred because of the noisefiltering used. Notice the dark edges of the text, the dots in 13:57 are black instead of red. This is because of the sharpeningfilters used. Notice how the overall text color is darker, this is because of the level optimisation.
Heres a 400% blow up to show it even clearer:

Nicely done numb
Now, has anyone with UNEDITED W800 photos actually noticed any image improvement over K750? (I'm not suggesting different sensors, as numb says that debate should be closed permanently, but perhaps with the different firmware on the W800)

Here's a piccie I took this morning... He's been the love of my life since I was 14 months old, so I thought it only fitting that he should be the first subject...
They were taken in fairly low light... first is 'normal', second is b/w, third is 'solarised' - I like the option of the effects!

i donīt think there is enought difference between w800 and k750 to justify a separate photo thread...

Arez, I think some of these later posts should be in the general picture threads, but I think we were hoping that some peeps might post some good comparisons between the two cameras. That hasn't happened much.
But I tend to agree that there isn't much difference, infact I've yet to see any real evidence of any difference at all!
