I guess China figured it would be a good sell due to high demand from new Sony products including PSP, k750i, w800i and future upcoming phones.

Mine was a fake 1GB sony pro duo high speed (the pics i showed you earlier)... Fake sony mem. sticks are poorer in quality... i see lots of cracks on the memory sticks already after 1 month and i assume they're caused by ME inserting the stick into my k750i??:S Basically it was breaking apart!!
Sony confirmed with me yesterday that it was fake, so i went to buy another Sandisk 1GB pro duo for gaming.. with a more reliable dealer..

does the fake thingy have sumthing to do with the memory capacity? i mean, my sandisk 256 can only handle 237mb of total memory.. care to check out the memory capacity of ur fake 1 gig duo mate?
