Well, I am in not properly in this thread as I do not own any of these (k750 or w800) (although I seem to incline to the k750 pole, thus virtually belonging to the thread somehow

)...and cannot decide myself...the decision is very important as I cannot afford to buy such phones every year. For me it's important how is the physical build quality between the phones, specifically the keyboard and buttons. So far I have tried the 750 only.
You should know that I have been using some very reliable (buttons and keyboard at least) antiquities so far, R320 and R520 old Ericsson....and this seem to me one of the core specs of a phone, that would make it durable (thus enjoyable).
Is the joystick better at the w800 (rubbertop, further from "2" key)?
To me the buttons seem better mapped on the face of the w800 and better "ingraved"/different design-the 750's seem somewhat laptopish, i.e. superficial. And also I advanced to more doubting since I read the post of SE-MAN888 having his buttons fall off! (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=100967)
In deed the 750 looks more professional and bussines, and looks matters, but not the most, so please give your counsel.

Hi
I've got both the K750i and W800i ...
they're both exellent phones and I can say there's not much
difference between the two handsets. I prefer the handsfree headset
of the W800i and the disk2phone program that comes with it to transfer music from pc to phone but you can download this program in SE official website and you can use this brilliant program for the K750i and it works as well. I've kept the K750i and the W800i goes to the wife. I'ts the color that made me choose the K750i as the W800i is a bit of a girlie type of handset . They got the same R1L002 firmware .

fully charged ( battery ) both unit
they at the same time, play the mp3... which unit will drain the battery first?
if you will use the headset of the w800i on your k750i... will it be comparable to the walkman w800i?

Im not a owner of any of these phones yet (Still using my T630). I do have to say that in less than one month, I will be going for the w800i. From what I have read about both the K750i and the w800i is that they are the same phones, except with different firmware, casings, and packaged goodies.
Everytime I go by the phone shop, I always pick up the w800i and compair it to the k750i, and I like the feel and look of the w800i. I don't like the lens cover on the k750i as I feel like it might get snagged on something one day. Plus with the "extra" memory that comes with the w800i, it makes it even more a hot item to get.
That being said, the phone shop is going to throw some free stuff in, like a case, and a car charger to get me to go back to that outlet. But if they don't have the phone in stock. I will be going elsewhere for it.
