This is what you are losing your mind about? Play now? Are you serious? I converted my v800 to a z800i and do not have the Play Now icon. Dude, how old are you? Seriously?

The flashes are crypted for davinci use, you can decrypt them of course with some knowledge
Or you may read out the firmware then add some SSW header and split the firmware, then you will have a good binary flash file
(sorry i know that wasnt any help)

Louis, no worries mate. The phone is still the phone with or without Play Now. It is a crappy feature anyway. Have you tried the ringing tones there? They are aweful. Besides there is no way to flash the files until SE puts out some new ones.

Thanks for that info gbrooks. I want r3m on my s700 but se update says my phone is up to date and its got old firmware on. S700 is sim free already. Looks like another job for you seeing as you sorted my w800 out ;-)
