you can use the psp like internet explorer on a PC but you need a wireless router!

right so... do i want one of them or not as you said i cant play againt mates with a wireless router. to be able to use it like internet explorer on a pc do you have to be near your pc with it on?

read carefully
to play mates, all you need is a psp and a mate with a psp with the same game ok
you can also play over the internet using a wireless router but only some games do this such as twisted metal
to use the browser on firmware 2.0 you need a wireless router connected to a broadband connection. No PC has to be on but the router has to be on OK

dude i'll explain simple.
Do you have wireless internet in your home?
If you want to use Wireless internet capabilities, then all you need to do is go to the Network (the very left icon on the screen) and it'll show a wizard.
If you dont have wireless internet at home, then you need to get a Wireless router first. OR else you can't USE the Wifi on the PSP.
If you want to play versus another player, go to Gamesharing or somethign like that. in the Game section of the PSP, it'll do the rest for you.
You both need to have the game though.
