the .jar.sest file is sony encrypted file, hence, it cannot be used for installing again.
hmm strange, i have the .jar.sest in my others folder but i got the choice to install it

I tried doing that with a tubemap navigator I downloaded but when I go into the other folder and try and send it to my PC via bluetooth, the send function "bluetooth" is greyed out. If I try and press select it says the file is protected...?
same here, i can't send it anywhere because it says it was protected

I think that DRM violates the fair-use provision of copyright law. We're supposed to be able to back up our data. I think the fact that a Sony customer service rep just told me to do a master reset on my phone (a month-old, malfunctioning phone), with no way of backing up my games, and no offer to compensate me for them, is crazy. My phone malfunctions and I'm expected to just lose my data.

I also think it's crazy that I can't play my itunes songs on my k750i. It's my data. I paid for it.

I completely agree with that. Fair Use as a right under law is being stolen from us.

PROBLEM SOLVED! When you move .jar.sest file to Other folder, disconnect your phone, and than, connect it again. Open the Other folder and make shure your system shows the file extensions and hidden files (to enable on Win XP, go to Control Panel->Folder options and under tab "View", check the option "Show hidden files and folders", and than disable the option "Hide extensions for known file types"), than change the game's extension only to .jar and delete any other unknown files in folder. That's it. I can send it via anything...
Hope that helps!
Cheers!

EDIT: P.S. I've discovered that myself!

If you burn your itunes tracks to an audio cd then rip them back off of that using windows media player you can convert them to mp3s and then send them to your phone.

It doesn't work for me (D750i->W800i R1AA008). After that this aplication seems to be corrupted ("Operation failed" on install).

I think they have changed the way java installs on the mem card, probably so games can't be copied to multiple different devices.

There is a program called "java extractor" (it can extract the jar file from a game and save it on the "others" folder, but it only works on A100 phones. A200 phones such as W910 don't seem to be able to run the "java extractor".
