I wont recommend davinci but I recommend a post in service to SE service center.....
You post your K750i and they will return it to you all done and without voiding the warranty...

No offense mate but I know that only sim free and orange are the only able to update to R1N via SEUS....
A few more on branded/locked to O2 know this already too well...
I got a new message pon SEUS tonite...
"There are currently no service for devices belonging to your operator"...
and after the ok clicked
Your device is not permitted to use this service
Your operator does not approve the use of this service with this device.
We look forward to assisting you again soon.
Thank you for using the Sony Ericsson Update Service!
Well done SE and O2 now I am really pivved.... what a bunch of morons....

@leviath
Before posting those nonsense comments you should read what's being posted on other SEUS related threads.
K750i's SEUS updates were disabled. NO ONE can update any K750i.
They found the error and i'm sure they are solving it.
Just be patient.
Man! Tem calma pá!
Mas já percebi que não gostas da O2.

E... not nonsense it is true...
I know there is a error, there are and were lots of errors...
Unfortunatly its the customers that end up paying for theire ignorance.....
That is no nonsense it's fact...
and Eu estou calmo... Quando me subir o sangue a cabeca escrevo uma carta a O2 e a SE...
Imagine a chef that doesnt try his own cooking...
a serio o Krubach... disparates....Nonsense... porra... tou fodido com isto...

I have been nothing but patient... I dont mean to have a good old rant but what the heck... dont take it the wrong way guys.....
Anyway I dont think a branded/locked O2 UK handset is able to update to R1N with SEUS UK not B4 this great coooooock up and I doubt after it will be any better...
happycheesecake mentioned a test f/w T1Qsomething maybe this will be for the O2 branded/locked handsets... When however is anyones guess...
I lost faith in both SE and O2....

What's actually wrong with the o2 firmware that we have already.
I know there are a few tweaks that they've done, but I'll live.
