1)Media Player Bug - the media player has a problem. when you create a new playlist and let it play for a while( repeat and random ON), after all the songs in the playlists is played once, the media player tends to act weird. it will start to play songs that are not in the playlist you've created and static could be heard too.
2)MS PRO DUO Bug - when transferring MP3s to the phone, some songs are not being transferred. so
f@cking annoying!
3)Signal Level Bug - incorrect signal display. It shows full bars down in our basement when there should be really no signal down there. It flashes "emergency calls only" but still full bars.
I hope these bugs get fixed by the R1A005 firmware. And no more annoying bugs please...

something real weird happend to my w800. its a branded phone, from TIM Brasil. i have upgraded to this buggy FW and due to the transfering bug (not all files are transferred to the phone), i have tried to format the memory stick using my PC. well, it didnt format and the stick became unreadable. f**k!
then i restarted the phone. it became stuch on the SE green logo for a while and then started again, working normally, but still with the bugs. but the weird thing is that, after this formating stuff, my memory stick is read as if it has 1GB and not 512MB anymore! i havent tried to put 1GB on it, specially due to this damn transfering bug, but what the hell happened to the stick? is this another bug or something hidden on the stick? any clues?

yeah, sounds like you just need to reformat the memory stick. putting 1gb of data on it will almost definitely mess up and 1/2 the data wont copy on or will look like its copied but will be all corrupt

i have the same problem, except mine is a bit more severe. i CANT turn the phone on with the memory card in. if i do, i just get to the SE logo and it will stay there for ever. but soon as i pop the card out, it will start up. when the fone is on, i can put the card in, but the phone will refuse to acknolegde its there, so i cant format it, it also wont appear when i put it in my computer. is the card completely f*ked? because if it is, ive only had the phone 3 days and i am not amused.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

those people who has probs with transfering file...
the current FW R1N035 has these bugs indeed.
what can we do... their humans.....
what I did with mine is to try transferring mp3 files by pair. do not heap copying files... the FW just cant take it.
Or to make the most out of it.. use a CARD READER/WRITER when transfering big files.
Theres this love hate relationship with the supplied cable and the FW (R1N035). so remember try not to copy big files. or heap sized copying mode. just dont! the FW wont like it. or if you just cant take it... do it with a card reader. and pray that SE will come up with a newer FW.
much thanks.. hope this will help

edit: lol, ok scrap what i wrote underneath. it started deleting them again ;(
hey guys..my phone has the r1n035 firmware too and i had the same problem with copying mp3s..they kept disappearing..so i was thinkin..the firmware or smt must be deleting them..right? that`s why the phone just hangs for a sec when u take the usb out. so ..i tried making an mp3 read only..and tried copying that..and..it worked!..didn`t dissapear! tried again with more mp3s..still good

so looks like that fixes that problem..sort of. hope it hasn`t been mentioned before or smt

if anyone tests this out please comment on if it worked.
only thing is that you can`t delete those files using the phone..u can only take the read only off by browsing the ms from the pc..and then delete them from the pc/phone. so unless you wanna get files permanently stuck on your phone, don`t use this trick on the internal(phone) memory.
