That is an issue I still need to resolve (Soldier Ants has the same problem). I was about to start looking at it when I got caught up in the Soldier Ants online build!
Cheers,

The first review of version 1.10 is up. This version will be available at the weekend as a free upgrade to registered users.

The updated release features a new bridge building mode that expands the game to allow use of a combination of materials. No longer will you build your bridges with just the iron girders included in the original. This new mode allows construction using wooden planks, steel wires, and of course the traditional iron girders. The result? Get ready to design your first suspension bridge!

I've just finished uploading 1.10 to the main shops. It may take a few hours to appear.
Main new features:
10 new levels
2 new building materials (wood and wire)
Take photographs of your bridges (saved as 'Photograph.tga' in the Girders folder)
Finnish language support
German language support
Improved physics

I too am getting these errors. I beleive the crash occurs when you select a solution for a bridge which you have not yet completed.
Yes.... I know this because I attempted to cheat
I'm not proud but I'm stuck on level 3 of the new section. I just can't seem to work out how to use the wires to support my bridge.
If anyone has any tips it would be greatly appreciated.
By the way Floss..... Fantastic game... Keep it up!

Thanks.

It is probably just being really slow. If the map is quite large it will be saving a few 100k and file access on the memory stick is very slow.

Ah... I'll fix that for the next version. The game automatically packs up any files it uses into a wad for me, it saves some time writing the install scripts. I forgot to tell it not to include my solutions to the new levels! The game does not have full access to the files in the wad and so it crashes.
Cheers,
Tom
