And for normal texting I may add that with

you can use the extra-useful volume-buttons shortcut:
volume + (one hand) while pressing a digit (with the other hand) goes to the 2nd letter
volume - while pressing a digit goes to the 3rd letter.
No shortcut for the 4th letter.
I admit though that this shortcuts are much more useful with the K700 disposition of the volume button (left hand cover) instead of the K750 one (RH), unless you are left-handed

The K750 has quick response. I started out with a T230 which was really baaad! (like you had to wait a million years for the letter to appear, but it had great other functions so I still preferred that to my old Nokias & just bit my lip). Then I got a T630 which was much, much faster. But the K750 is by far the best phone I've ever laid hands on (aside maybe from w800 which is almost the same phone).
Probably the one thing Nokia users would first notice with SE phones is that after typing your sms message, you'd need several key presses before you can actually send it because you're presented with so much options. The K750 though is more sms-intuitive than older models, plus it adds a list of contacts/numbers recently sent to, yes it's presenting more options again, but these ones are definitely very handy features! If you want to send to several recipients, it's also easier in the K750 than with Nokias. Probably the only thing it lacks is the capability to copy & paste text within & among different messages, or maybe even between applications (i had this feature on my Panasonic GD68, but it also had a response time worse than the SE T230).
Texting on K750 is a breeze, you'd never want to go back to Nokias (at least that's what I feel

)
