pics aint that bad for the conditions. all camera phones take poor pictures inside. upgrading the fw is easy and there is a very low risk of something happening to your phone (if it does you can usually re flash). fw updrade should improve things but i wouldnt expect a crystal clear pictures in those conditions.

Night mode+Light+Fine setting+Tweak white balance+Tweak brightness.
Nothing wrong with the K750 camera. Only wrong thing i can see is you owning the phone and taking pics of urself.
