I think the reason for so many release dates being pushed back is because of the implemented software that will come with the device and their troubleshooting department looking for a problems to be compiled into a known problem list that will actually be supported to be fixed when customers call in for support.

I myself would like to play with such a device, but I think I'll look forward to actually owning a T68i, since I'm still hooked on the T39!

I wouldnt be surprised if the first releases are in Japan (Sony's homeland) and Sweden along with Europe. But then again because of Apples new partnership with SonyEricsson I hope this isnt another uncomfirmable post about the release date.

I had a P800 in my hands, and for all the amazing technology packed in this machine, I found it too heavy to carry it daily in my pocket and frankly quite boxy looking. on the other hand, I have never been a fan of Palm; the hand-writing recognition seems to be the only way you can write a message... T9 is definitely a must once you get used to it.

Ericsson representative at Comdex show in Switzerland suggested January 2003 as probable time of release for Europe.

RCS is right up the block from me. I'll drop in and ask around, but I don't expect much.
