Sorry, but I was occupied writing my own post while you were posting yours. And secondly, I never said you have to go into the service menu: just go into the normal menu, and then pressing repeatedly the joy in one direction will simply cycle you around the icons of the menu, without entering any function.

i think the t610 was the best and the k700 is very good too and responsive. the t68i was a hell mainly coz the menus where slow.

Yes, the best solution is to clean it up properly. But of course the problem is that if you open the phone yourself, you void the warranty. So, better take it to a service center, which is a bit of a nuisance if you have to do it once a month or so.
Soooo, the best thing would be for SE to finally accept that there is a problem with the building quality of their phone, and take the appropriate action to solve the problem.
@boba: yes, I also largely prefer the joypad with the arrows. I have a z600 for more than 2 years now, and never had a problem with it.

You mean michka, or my real name?
michka is sort of russian so it would be "meeshka" with an a like in "part". I am french speaking.

Funny thing is I am not russian, but michka is a combination of the first syllables of my first name and last name. That's all there is to it.
