Definately it is amazing how you can hear a song you have not heard for years, and it just triggers a memory off and the words come flooding back. The 80's how i wish i lived through them, what a great era.

Ooooo love this thread, so many great sounds:
Reach for the sky and hold your head up high
For tonight and everynight, you're a superstar
And don't you be afraid
Think of all the friends you've made
Like any other night you've got your name in lights
You're a superstar

@miss c, you youngster you!
I was never really sure about all that new romance stuff, men wearing makeup etc, but the music was good! ultravox - e.g. enola gay, OMD - souvenir, human league etc etc
I've always been into music since forever but I have no feeling for alot of music of this century, unfortunately

Now that I've lost everything to you
You say you wanna start something new
And it's breakin' my heart you're leavin'
Baby, I'm grievin'
But if you wanna leave, take good care
I hope you have a lot of nice things to wear
But then a lot of nice things turn bad out there
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
I'll always remember you like a child, girl
You know I've seen a lot of what the world can do
And it's breakin' my heart in two
Because I never wanna see you a sad girl
Don't be a bad girl
But if you wanna leave, take good care
I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there
But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware
Chorus
Baby, I love you
But if you wanna leave, take good care
I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there
But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware

Ooooh, you've opened up a can of worms here!
See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side
I will wait, without you
Slight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
And I'll wait, without you.....
With or Without you, by U2 (of course!)
I'll sing it one last time for you
Then I really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done
.....
Light up, light up.
As If you have a choice
Even if you cannot here my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear.
'Run', by Snow Patrol
And one of my all time favourites, Moonlight shadow by Mike Oldfield and Maggie Riley (sp?) I shan't post the lyrics 'cos I'm sure just about everybody knows them!
All of those songs have a very personal significance to me one way or another

I think 'rhythm is a dancer' was by a euro-dance outfit called 'Snap', if I remember correctly
Yeah, 'One' is a very beautiful song
