I think it looks really bad with the logo + the text on the front .. a logo in the center would have been OK instead of the walkman logo... but this is terrible...

The white aint too bad. Its the fact that its a big red logo in the middle of a white phone that makes it look awful.
Reminds me of the ugly old Voda PAYG phones with the red logo under the screen that just made them worse.

Voda arent forcin u to buy it! and jus to pee u guys off a bit more u WONT be able to get the phone on ANY other network other than VODAFONE in the UK!!! they have FULL exclusivity on it according to WHAT MOBILE!
And before u all start flaming me i DONT work for voda anymore so i dont giv a rats arse bout the branding... if u want the fone u will put up with the branding... if u dont like it dont buy it! simple as!
And great comment bout everything in life being branded... its true... even the drinks u drink an the food u eat is branded...

@scotsboyuk; thanks for the info. Personally I've never used the My Friends feature and never understood how it works on any providers network. I think it was designed very poorly on the z600/z500a/K700.

I don't actually mind the branding all that much, however, I do mind the substitution of features e.g. My Friends and DRM. Vodafone's messenger system seems to be a proprietary system in that it can only be used with other Vodafone customers; someone please correct me if I am wrong. DRM is just plain nonsense; I can't use music I have already bought and paid for as a ringtone unless it comes from Vodafone! Utter tripe!

As for Vodafone buying in bulk and customising to bring the product to the market and give lower prices to the customer, not true.
They do it for market exclusivity, to bring people into their market, as the produxt can only be obtained from them, and in turn...chanrge them MORE for it.
Point in case, I have been a premier Vodaphone buisness customer for 13 years, and spend around £400 per month with them. I was 4 months over my 12 month period, so was well into my upgrade period, and when I asked for a W900, was told, no problem, that'll be £75 sir.
