has anybody else been able to update their UK Voda W800i yet? I serously can't believe that I'm the only one...
I can understand people questioning it though, as "r1aa008" doesn't even get 1 hit in google yet...
as for first impressions, i've had no memorystick corruption yet, but they seems to have made USB transfers a lot slower. It now takes me 20 seconds to transfer a 6MB mp3 file, have they downgraded the phone to a USB1.1 device?
other than that i really can't tell any difference. Anyone got any tests?

well, as i read in other threads, some people doubt its existence..
heres a few more snaps of the software screen, ive deliberatly not enhanced the phots, and tried to get as much of the phone as possible to remove any doubt.
hope you guys get the FW in yourr locale soon.

Yup i think so. I have the R1NA005 firmware and have a hissing sound that can be heard on soft songs and when a song fades in or out. I guess that the hissing is there all tha time. Didnīt have that problem with the earlier firmware. Have been in contact with SE and the DONīT reply to my mails. iīm gonna try the firmware when it arrives (and probably be dissapointed and if possilbe get more angry). My next step will be to file a complaint on SE here in Sweden to the consumers organisation. SE have had their chance to correct this....actually two chanses! Gloves are off!!

I have a unbranded phone but i canīt imagine that the firmware for unbranded phones will work better and without hissing sound than the new firmware that is out for vodaphone phones....grrr
Someone, tell me i could be wrong!
