battery life?
check the stats for N80 vs p990 in a previous post in this thread.
anyway, the hugely different functionality fully explains any difference in battery life: it does more, so you use it more.
as i've said, if you like the N80, go for it, i'm not an SE salesman. but please don't spout lame claims that it out-performs the p990 or p910 in anything other than the camera function, it just doesn't make sense.
sorry, but swapping a p910 for an N80 is a downgrade, but maybe that's what you want . . . fair do.

actually, i think there are more differences, not just the camera. the umts feature itself makes n80 advanced next to p990 imo

The P910 is now over one year old. That is ages in a time when you cannot buy a phone anymore after two years, because it is outdated. The N80 is very new and I have to say the P910 can still hold it's own against the N80.

its always interesting when 2 worlds meet and discuss points from different views. i think, the reason of choosing a fone is always individual. u prefer handrec feature etc, thats not important for me. actually we compare here 2 smartfones, but made for dirfferent systems. what are your experiences with 3g?

Don't have 3G here available in US where I live. But I really do not want to live without a touch screen on a phone anymore.

Wow, didn't think my little post was gonna end up 2 pages long. Well, I've gone through a P900 and now a P910a and frankly, I'm just tired of it. It is an awesome phone with killer features. It has it's issues too. It's kind of a brick and the interface is super slow. But it has great apps and is a great messaging device. Basically, I'm just ready for something a bit more normal as phones go. I originally bought this as an all in one device but I still only use it for it's phone features. I now have an iPod so there's not a chance I'll use the P910a as a music or video player. The camera on it is absolutely worthless. All I really want out of a camera in a phone is to take a decent picture.
Really I'm just ready for something different and smaller. I know I'll miss certain things about the P910a but I sure won't miss it's huge size. Just thought I'd make it clear that I'm not getting the N80 cuz I think it's a "better" phone. Just better for my situation.

Cingular is just rolling out it's 3G network so I'll hopefully be using it soon.
