Are you sure W900 isn't a smart phone ? Surely looks big enough to be one. This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

That is a good question. What are the criteria for a phone to be a smartphone? I also looked at prices for the upcoming 4GB memory stick for SE being released in March and it is apparently going to cost $900!!

Makes the N91 look very cheap in comparison.

I’m not exactly sure about the definition of a smart phone, but a smart phone should run a flexible OS like Symbian or Windows Mobile which let you access lower level features of the phone unlike java applications that run on a VM with restricted access. Basically you can write a program to do just about anything on a smart phone.

AFIK W900 is running a proprietary SE OS like all other SE phones except P series, and the only applications you can install are java apps. So it does not qualify as a smart phone.

That seems plausible. I always thought Smartphones had to be Symbian or Windows orientated. cheers

n91 isnt going to be released any time soon

sony 2gb memory stick is down to £65 on ebay

nokia engineer who said that you can drop it over 300 time before it breaks thats just funny once on concrete from 3ft while playing you would be very very lucky if it worked at all
that is stupidest story have ever seen 300+

screen is still same pixels quality as 6600 really nice NOT
even 6230i screen is better than n91

is a big 6600 with a hard drive and 3g
