will it matter if it has a walkman logo too?
the walkman, developed around the idea that you can actually listen to your music while walking along.

@vanquish, I'm a music lover and I don't see the need to carry around a thousand songs or more, although all power to those who like to. I just don't think having a thousand songs in your pocket is necessary for a person can be considered a serious music buff. I love my music and the K750 liberates me from having to always have an mp3 player AND a phone on my person (not to mention a digital camera

). I don't think you can argue that music phones are pointless simply because they don't have 20GB of storage

, or that peeps who use "dinky" 1GB mp3players (my first player was 32MB) aren't serious about their listening pleasure.
I do use my K750 as a dedicated music player (and I'm not sucked in by the walkman hype, as far as I'm concerned K750/W800 are one and the same with a few minor differences) I'd have liked the walkman logo, but I like the design of K750 more than the W800 so I chose the K750. I like the more subtle styling of the W810 walkman phone over the w800, that is a walkman treatment that I do like.
But ultimately whether the phones is walkman branded or not is irrelevant, it's what it can do that matters. People concentrate too much on this walkman branding. It's just a marketing ploy, no different to the "two fronts" design, the "quickshare" labelling etc. It doesn't represent anything "real" in term of performance.

@batesie
18 hours. HA!
@max
i disagree. anyone that is a true music lover does not use a K750 for a dedicated music player. sorry, but thats pretty common sense to me!

In my opinion SE know exactly what they are doing and the are doing it very well. They are exploiting an emerging market for music phones, to its full potential. Just like samsung did 3 years ago with colour screen phones. When colour screen phones started cropping up samsung flooded the market with identical clamshells to cash in on the craze. Look at Samsung's rise in 4 years, from 5% marketshare it has rocketed to 15%.
SE sees the increasing demand for music phones and is trying to beat the rest of its rivals to it. Given the miserable music abilities of the ROKR and D600, SE has already made a name for itself in the music department with the W800 which has been praised accross the board.
As concerns a decent cameraphone successor to the magnificent K750, I do not see the rush, since the K750 has been on the market for 9 months and only a Brick of a phone by Sharp can shoot better pics than the K750. I think we will see a slight upgrade to the K750 at Cebit in March for release in June. When i say slight i mean a better screen and mabe a slightly better cam.
