Startup animation is slow, bit jerked.
The walkman menu is somehow slow, it is VERY slow when using the "Backstreet" and "Avenue" themes that change the icons look.
Cannot browse the phonebook using the letters, since the letters do not appear on top.
Zoom is slow.
Bought the phone in Honk-Kong

i think THE question is will some of the bugs (ie. slow menus, etc) be addressed by a firmware update?

Would be nice if those of you that posted the bugs, & own the device using fulltime; post the FIRMWARE.

you must know by now that SE tracks threads like this and posting firmware with similar issues is easy for us & them to track.

@CrackerJack So SMS sending is now the same as MMS sending on the K750i - in the background?

Do you know what happens when an SMS fails to send? Does it keep trying to be sent? I wrote a letter to SE about this annoyance on the K750i, which I posted here.

EDIT: I suspect this would be the same on the W810i firmware, yes?

actually i really like how the W900 handles SMS that have failed to send. a popup comes up notifying you of such, and asks you if you want to retry. just click OK and it sends again. no need to go into the outbox and resend the message.

i get that too...sooo annoying have to reboot...

to the OP... Rf is great on the w900 way better the w800/k750i's i had.

software isn't slow... not as fast as k750i/w800 but definietely not slow.

after comparing the screens i find the nokia 6270 too bright.. i turn my w900 down to about 70-80%

yes i wish they had the standby clock.. saving battery is an excuse.. they can have a choice for the option to be on or off.. looks like my phone is dead have the time...

here are some pics i have both phones

I'm using R5AC011, waiting for SE to launch a new update via SEUS..

activity button failure, random bluetooth locks ups and doesn't work well with my hbh-300, pv700, or hbh-610.. lots of garble, works alright with my hbh-608.. yes i'd very devoted to SE ahaahahah

i want the music player to be a bit louder too like the r1aa on the k750/w800

and multi-letter search with HK firmware
