I never want fingerprint recognition on my SE phone, i see it as a tacky "point of sale" gimmick.
Software is always going to be available to get round it in the hands of a thief & we already have input locks available which i think most people find to much hasle to use anyway.
I see too many people leaving their phones on display in pubs ETC, presumably so others can admire, far better in the pocket i say.

Top tip, use input lock with girlfriend/partner about, they are notorious for snooping,
ALL OF EM !!

Fingerprint recognition isn't actually that secure at all, basically anyone with a few bits and pieces which you can find around the house can hack into \"ANY\" such types of entry system and i mean ANY,thats how easy these are to break into.but thats not the point although thieves will always find a way to hack into almost anything this is a better option as a phone lock rather than PIN entry i think.

Well, i remember leaving my phone at home when i rushed to see my mate in hospital, came out the hospital to use my phone (as you have to) realised it was at home, was able to phone home using a pay phone & get a family member to get a number from my phonebook on my mobile, an input code can be told to someone, but i wouldnt have been able to describe my fingerprint to them would i
