Almost anything in my collection is a favourite.. Else I would have gotten rid of it.

Terry Pratchett (more of the earlier stuff)
Tad Williams
David Eddings
Jane Lindskold (basically anything of hers i'll buy without hesitation)

So many favourite books, off the top of my head though, the mummy by anne rice.

Couldn't pic a favourite as such, too many. My favourite authors, this is real old school - Wilbur Smith, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Philip K Dick, Timothy Zahn, Sir Arthur Conan Dolye, Jules Verne, then science writers like Hawking and others I can't remember their names.

My favourite books over the years have been Starship Troopers (by R. Heinlein, made into the movie of the same name), Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, made into the movie "Blade Runners", The Hobbit (but never read LOTR), The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, and anything with "star wars" on it.

Philip K Dick stories also formed the basis of the movies Minority Report and Total Recal.

Dan Brown's Angels And Demons, The DaVinci Code and Deception Point are great, and so far the best Conspiracy Theory books for me!

I love The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings too!

For light reading I think The Chronicles of Narnia books 1 to 7 are quite entertaining.

Don't really read, but The Davinci Code I thought was brilliant.
