I hope it's the right issue, I ordered Feb 2004 (which is what the Riverdance website says, perhaps you could confirm that for me to make sure I'm not being thick?)

Amnesia, hope you guessed right and get what she wanted, but honestly you've exhibited a lot of concern and consideration, and a lot of effort to get her something she won't even bother to talk to you about, so if she turns her nose up when you give it to her then she is a complete waste of space.
Most girls would be touched by the effort you are taking, and wouldn't care even if you hadn't been listening.
The fact is most girls tune out the second a bloke starts to say anything that isn't about the girl, the relationship, or some subject the girl finds interesting. But do we threaten not to talk to them when they don't care who won the footy? No we don't give a shit. So the fact you don't give a flying hoot about backnumbers or riverdance and michael "I'm so in love with myself" flatley doesn't mean you don't care about her. Most girls understand this simple concept. If she can't get that, then she's not the type of woman you want as your gf mate. (don't listen to me too much though - I'm bitter over my ex who was such a person - she was too self-centred to maintain a relationship with anyone other than herself.
)
