hey!
does anybody out there know hot to install tomtom mobile on the p910i?
I tried it with the official update but my p910 just ignores me. the pc suite does not find any program it can instal to the memory stick.
please help!

TomTom is not a roadmap application but a navigation application, you have to use a GPS (global positioning system) in other words a GPS mouse.

The combination of both allows you to travel around without using a paper map. Just liosten to the directions and look at the screen.

You don't actually install TomTom. You place the MMSEMC folder onto your memorystick. Place the MS in your p900 and there you go..
In you internal application list the TomTom icon will appear, just click on it and it works. No need to install anything, there is no SIS file for TomTom.

thanks for the answer, but my p910 still ignores me. maybe i killed some essential files. which files should be in which directories on the mem stick?

yes its a bit tricky putting the right files in the right places but play around a bit then you will get closer to your target!

like me, but now i am stuck on the activation part can anyone help me get over the last hurdle??!!

I had the same problem getting it to work just reformat the memory stick in the phone and copy and paste files to the MMSEMC folder don't drag and drop as for some reason this can cause problems took about 3 tries then worked hoped this helped. Have fixed bluetooth headset problem for calls whilst TT5 running never expericened muted sound problem.

Think I've found another bug. Has anyone else selected "Dim only when not charging" in backlight preferences? Does your P910i screen still dim whilst it is on charge? Mine does. Is this a bug?
