By the way, let's make clear that CPWH is posting when the P990 will be available to them. It doesn't necessary imply that it's SE's expected deployment date. Case and point, when I got my P900 every other store had the release date set 3 weeks after. So every consumer believed that to be SE's deployment date. The vendor I went through was able to procure 5 production units from the SE manufacturing plant. They certainly jujmped the queue, but had to grease some palms to do so.
Some vendors are able to sneak small orders in before there's enough units developed to fullfill all vendor orders. SE does communicate different dates to various vendors all based on priority in queue.

be aware that any P990 available now are most definitly beta/developer versions so you pay your money and take your chances!
