Viruses for the Macintosh? I have been a Mac user ever since it came out in 1985, and I have yet to encounter a virus.
That's the spirit. Go ahead and stick to your PC. As long as there are people like you, people like me are ensured a very bright future. My company is kept in business because of the inherent flaws of Windows and PCs.

well my business relies on the repeat business I get for NEW PC's and installation of new software and hardware. Infact if I didn't keep the pc's running with very few problems I wouldn't get that repeat business. So my business relies on making windows run reliably in business situations.
So if you make money out of people's windows problems, do you keep telling them everytime they have a problem that it's simply Windows fault and therefore there is nothing that can be done about it? Seems to me then everytime they have a problem with their computer they won't blame it's setup or their own training to use it - but just blame it on Windows like everyone else, and call you again to "fix" it with a shiny new mac? So you get more work because you can't make their system run reliable for them?
No wonder Windows has such an undeserved bad name.

If Windows doesn't deserve it's bad reputation, it should be an OS that is stable in itself. No company should be earning money just to 'make it work better'. It's Microsoft's job to make it work like it should.
But as it is, a lot of corporations exist because there is a market for software to help Windows work as it should. Nobody, but nobody deserves to pay for an OS that has too many holes in it and would crash anytime it desides to. The maket is there, and businessmen will take that opportunity and make money out of it.
I suggest a better alternative to anybody because I believe that they don't deserve a crappy product. For now. the OSX is better and definitely a lot more stable than Windows. The proof is in the number of companies that are out there making money just to make Macintoshes run as they should. Do you know any? Because I don't. Many create programs/apps, but not software/utilities to make it stable or run as it should.
As a businessman, I take advantage of a market that is created by people who insist on spending money on an 'unstable' OS. But like I said, I also suggest a better alternative at every turn. I don't insist that they stick to what they have just because I earn my living out of it.
Even if my business is making PC's and Windows machines bearable to the average Joe, It wouldn't stop me from being honest. If in the future, I find an even better home computer, I would also happily recommend that to my clients.
