I actually thought the k750i could do this before I bought it, but found out it didn’t.

i may have misread your comment, but you 'can' fast forward and rewind on the k750...
Xugaa, I was asking for an incremental fast forward - that is, when you start forwarding it goes at a certain speed, and if you continue holding, the fast forward increases in speed, say jumping a minute at a time rather than the default speed which stays constant all the time.
Most mp3 players offer this functionality and I dont see why this cant be added in. For audiobooks and movies its very frustrating to jump to a point in the middle or the end, you have to keep holding the forward for ages!
