and the response from ebay is.....
Hello Luke,
Thank you for writing back to us regarding the suspension of your eBay
account.
Your account has been suspended for a minimum of 7 days due to breach of
eBay's Shill Bidding policy.
After reviewing the details of this suspension, I have found that you
have not yet completed the full term of the suspension. Once a minimum
of 7 days have passed, you may reply to this email and we will provide
you with the steps that you will need to follow to be considered for
reinstatement.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Regards,
Daniel Saunders

yeh, its a ton of crap fair do's. I have now emailed the bidder to contat ebay which they have said they will. Im just annoyed I have had to list 30 odd items on my spare account
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZsuper-pieQQhtZ-1
and pay another £20 of fees to ebay... which means I have lot time, money and a hell of allot effort. I found out I may also lose my power seller status which I worked hard to get and was peoud of. I now refere to ebay as gaybay and love to slander it as much as pos. I pass the word onto anyone who askas about gaybay.
Also did anyone notice that my previous post was edited at the end? im sure it had some profanity in it and mde more sense

I use turbo lister - thank god if not I will have loast every auction
also I rang the member earlier and they agreed to email ebay and sent me a draft Check it out:
Hi I wan't to enquire about a user who was recently suspended. I recently noticed they were suspended from ebay and today received a phone call from them regarding this matter hoping I could help clear this up.
The member Lukebonathan was allegedly suspended from eBay for "shill bidding", because I had been bidding on his items? I want to clear this up as I have dealt with this member for quite a while now and he is a very good ebayer, he has even personally delivered items to my door and not even charged me for this. I cannot understand why he is banned. I have bid on his items, and not always become the highest bidder, but have managed to win a few of his items over the past (I am sure you can look into the history of our accounts and see this). I usually bid on his electrical items and those that are faulty or spare parts, and have done so for some time, but why have you suspended him now?
From the way I see it nor me or Lukebonathan have done anything wrong. Surely if his account was suspended mine should be to? I can honestly not understand the reasoning behind this suspension, there must be thousands of users who regally buy or sell to each-other, do all these members get suspended?
I understand you cannot give me exact details on this matter, but would like ebay to understand lukebonathan has not been using my account to "shill bid" his items and nor I doing it for him. I bid intending to buy, if I win or do not win it should not have an effect upon the seller.
Yours Faithfully
Kirsty1025

after gaybay telling me I had to wait 7 days just to get a proper response I have waited and decided to email today as I want to be back on asap, and they won't read till 2moz when my 7 days are up. Heres the email I just sent
Hi Daniel
I would like to make something clear I did not breach eBay's shill bidding policy as I believe I was very clear in my 1st email
"Hi. I just got suspended from ebay for "shill bidding" now firstly I have to ask why? A member called kirsty1025 bid on allot of my items, even lives locally, and collects from my house, but why have you suspended me for this? If they bid on my items how is that my fault? I am fully aware what shill bidding is so don't send me a crap pre set message. I also had over 30 items on ebay which I was charged listing fees for, but now they have all been removed, but I just had to pay those listing fees, and have nothing to show for this, so I request you either reinstate my account imediatly with all my current listings back on in their current status or refund me ALL my listing fees which were charged for those auctions that were just cancled, then reinstate my account asap (some people achually make a living off ebay). I am not very happy about this, i have been trading for over 18 months on ebay and am a powerseller who just reached 600 feedback, I pay over £2000 a year for your services (listing fees etc) and don't start me on paypal. So is this how you like to reward your loyal customers? I know that ebay don't like bad PR, but if this kind of crap continues then your going to get allot of it, especially from annoyed customers such as myself. Luke Bonathan"
But I'm assuming that it was not considered due to the fact my 7 days were not up, but by the time a member of ebay customer support reads this it will be 7days since my inappropriate suspension, but whilst I waited I did decide to read up on all ebay's policies and also ask the other member in question to email eBay and enquire about my suspension, but according to them, ebay were not forthcoming in a response. I myself want to know why action was only taken against me, but not the other user? In my opinion If we were both involved in shill bidding we both should have been suspended?
Whilst reading all emails and policies about ebay shill bidding and those email I had from ebay 3 things bother me, the main one that I am being accused for something that I have no control over, I have dealt with kirsty1025 numerous times as mentioned earlier but for no reason should I be punished for this, if requested I will ban the member from bidding on my items in the future. The second thing is according to the polices I read I could and probably will lose my power-seller status, now I have worked months for that so my bidders can see I am a strong and trusting member of ebay, and having that taken away from me would mean I have wasted allot of time effort and money trying to achieve it. I regally paid my fees and in February sold over £2.5k of my stuff so I could keep my status, I even had about 3-4k planned for this month, but now unforchantly due to this suspension have lost almost 2 weeks of listing and selling time meaning I have a huge amount of items to sell and only 13 days of this month to do it, this will also mean I cannot even achieve the spring challenge which I had planned on trying to complete and come top in my band. Now for the 3rd thing that bothers me, I listed my items on a thursday, they were then canceled 1 day later on the friday, this means I was viewed by ebays audience for one day, when I listed those items the majority were set so I had 7 days worth of audience viewing, thats 6 less days then I agreed to, but I was still charged almost £20 for listing fees, yet I did not get the full amount of time that I should have, this I find unacceptable, in a email that was sent to me along with a nice little list of the 32 items that were canceled it said my fees were non returnable, yet my way of seeing this I have done nothing wrong so should not be charged for this. I did read of case where eBay have been taken to court for allegedly making bidders have slightly higher bids then usual, details can be found here:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/02/24/ebay_shill_lawsuit/
This whole ordeal has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and has caused me financial loss. I did enjoy trading on ebay and even managed to bear almost 7% of the fees (ebay then paypal) but things like this really put you off, but I do still want to continue trading. I will do what it takes for myself to become re-registered, but want 100% of the fees charged for the canceled listings credited to my ebay seller account (eBay won't lose out on these as they will just go straight back into the money jar when I list and then sell my items), and I ask that no black mark be left on my account, nor I lose my feedback or power-seller status because of this cock up.
As a regular user of ebay and and definitely what you would call a loyal customer, I pay over £2000 a year in selling/listing/paypal fees a year easily, yet find for all my hard work becoming a established member it means nothing, I do not get personalized customer support, I have no phone number to call when this happened, I believe the only people who do are the top 2 levels of power-seller? Now I see this as disgraceful considering the amount I pay for these services I really hope ebay and paypal shape up, otherwise there are going to be allot of problems in the future.
Please get back to me asap,
Luke Bonathan
