Just been charged for 40MB use for 1 days use on 31st March and also for 2MB use on 30th March, even though they said free until 31st March. Also how could I use 40MB on a bloody mobile phone, but not been charged for any use from 1st April to today??????
Letter sent to O2 Complaints.

Got a call from O2 Complaints who said they would go half way with me on this one. I said why half way, I never used 40MB on one day. The guy tried to explain their records clearly show I used that amount on that day, but when I asked why it hasn't recorded any of my use from 1st April onwards he explained they are having problems with there GPRS billing.
Oh silly man, I'm now getting full refund after that comment.

Well, after recieving the text message from the first post, its now well passed the 2nd of May and I'm
STILL not being charged for GPRS access!
I won't be complaining about this one

- but it does seem O2 have some
SERIOUSLY BIG problems with their GPRS billing...

NOooooooooooooooooooooo !!!
Just checked my o2 unbilled usage for this month online last night, on the breakdown there was a new section which was never there before................
GPRS USAGE
AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
So far I've clocked up 15MB this month. Rang customer services and they were adamant that I was going to get charged even though I was not notified. She also said that as a gesture of goodwill I would not be charged for my previous months usage :cryI:

Yeah thats odd, as I was told i'd be charged from the 2nd. And in April I had that choice but now in May I don't. Something really wiered is going on at O2.

Yep, me too. Not been charged for any GPRS or wap access for the first time in 6 years. Oh well it had to end soon I suppose. I'm getting it back on this occasion though because they hadn't informed me it was either a trial or that it would end. 'Problems with the billing system' were cited which I'm afraid under law unless you can show an individual when they were supposed to have used a service you can't charge for it! Since 02 May though the entries have been showing up on both unbilled and produced bill so that excuse only works the once. I have to say though what they think I've used and what my phone says I've used in relation to the fact that I didn't use it for two weeks - none of it tallies up so I'll be watching these charges like a hawk.

Is anyone else on o2 suddenly and seemingly randomly being charged for gprs?
Have we enough people this is happening to to confirm that we're now paying the luxury of O2 filling their portal with useless icons?
