@datx
Good point
And the reviewer in my mind is pretty comprehesive in my opinion, and is (if you really think so) slightly biased for a good reason too...
I must add that IMHO he isn't a biased reviewer. One look at the review W900 and you'll know why. Rating a K750 five stars is intelligence, not bias.

The point of this thread is:
These two products [6230, 6230i] were the industry's best selling devices in Europe during each month of the year.
6230(i) may surpass K750i or vice-versa, it doesnt matter in the statement above. That statement doesnt mention K750i, does it.
Having said this, K750i is nice, but I'm bored of

looks now. All the same.

I imagine that a lot of the 6230x's buyers were corporate, thus really bumping up their sales.
The Ford Focus was the biggest selling car (I think) in the UK, doesn't necessarily mean it's the best car, I bet a lot of buyers for that were companies or car rental companies! It's a personal thing, the 6230x might be the best phone for some people, but the K750i better for others.
I have a 6230 (never had the 'i' version yet, thinking of getting one though) which I've just replaced the screen on, and it's a nice little phone. Great keypad, nice features, surprisingly good VGA camera, though the screen's a bit pokey. I like quite a few of the Nokia models, especially have a soft spot for the series 60 Symbian models, I don't go in for all this rather tedious Nokia bashing.
It might just have the edge on the K700i, but can't hold a candle to the K750i. The 6230i is better, though can't remember, does it have expandable memory?

hmm.....
nokia 6230 has a better phonebook and better outlook managment i agree. (SE has improved but nokia's is still a bit better)
SE UI is better IMO,
SE screen, camera, video, gaming, music, radio all better IMO.
nokia would be more durable from my experience
SE mutlitasking a lot better.. example gaming, texting, music
Better BT implementation...
the nokia 6270 is more comparable to the k750i.. even with the revised UI is still loses it's appeal to me.. mainly cause it leaves out the little things that i think SE knows people appreciate.
6270 has better screen then the k750i but still loses out IMO the same reason the 6230i does

Try mobile-burn...try gsmarena...all SE fan sites???
By the way, no talk about crapp java limit on 6230i??? No minimize function??? (by the way, the new 6280 have the same stupid limitations LOL) Crap bluetooth???
Go suck some soap and let us alone fanboy
according to the gsmarena 6230i second best phone. k750 is ranked as 8th best phone
what is crap about bluetooth ? is the very same as on SE
java minimizing ? well, it works on nokia too

if someone calls you the application is not terminated
what is really funny, that 3 years old low-end nokia 3510i has better calendar and addressbook compared to k750i

the same goes for wallet, notes etc etc
no usb mass storage, no EDGE, those are crutial functionalities

k750i has got only better camera. that is all. when it comes to real funtionality it is behind competition.

youīre on drugs are you???
Bluetooth on SE phones does work better than any blokia...tell me aquilla, can you send several files at the same times with the 6230i???
When i say minimize a java app, its doing it intentionately, and letting it run on background
You donīt mention stupid limit of 500kb in java apps...i have 6 or 7 games that have more than 500kb, and this is the trend now, if you want really top games. And apps are going that way also...i have worldfactbook that has 5mb...looks it canīt run on 6230i
Isnīt it strange top non-s60 phone from nokia, 6280, also canīt do any of this, just like 6230i LOL
Calendar is only crippled on k750 for lack of recurrent alarms, but that can be perfectly worked around with outlook and other softwares
Again, i have to mention almost all SE phones have better music sound than 6230i...thats pathetic and you forget it
If you sum all the things, its the other way around...the only true advantage of poor 6230i is the calendar, and even so...lol
But it sold more...so what??? Let us be happy with our more uncommon but way better phone lol

those rankings are made by peopleīs votes...if you say 6230i sold more, and nokia sell more, its obvious it will get more votes
when i talked about gsmarena, i was refering to the opinion of the reviewers...and in reviews all over the place, k750 is always at top, over poor 6230i, always...because its a fact

i thought i might add the point that the k750/w800 sales will be calculated separtely as well thus messing with the figures. same phone really just a split in sales.
i would expect the 6230 to be a better seller anyway as its got the might of nokia behind it. that said the k750 is still a good phone i just buy phones on the features i need not on the labels so i dont really care who makes the phone as long as it does what i need it to do.
