The k790/800 has the same media player as the w800i. Its the same just with no walkman branding. And it has flight mode.

All these new models with small incremental changes... It's a crazy waste of money to keep up with them.
Line-in recording, DAB radio (at least for UK distribution), and built-in DVD file conversion to small screen may just be technologically possible now for the manufacturers. But of course that'll kill the golden goose for them.
It's too bad that improvements in MESSAGING functions have to be released side-by-side with the extra features.
I mean, if t610 didn't have the slow text input problem, I'd be happy to make it my permanent phone til it crumbles in my hand.
Background SMS sending, SE could've made that feature available in much earlier models!

personally i dont like the look of the forthcoming k series but thats down to my choice!!!!!
the w810i has everything i need and i like the look of it so wont be upgrading to the new k series even though it has the excellent camera.. but thats what me ixus 50 is for!

iŽd go for k750 and buy a big msproduo. lens cover and bigger int mem(good for games) makes a difference

I cant answer that because i havnt used it. But im sure it will have equalizer and play in background and playlists. Its same as w800 but with no walkman labels in the player.
