Well it seems i have 'Voided' My warrenty , but the guy behind the counter was a friggen retard. He doesnt even know wat SEUS was and he deny's that there is such thing. I simply came clean and said " I updated my K750i WIth Official Certiefied SEUS and it failed on the second block , What do i do?" He simply said in a Indian Accent "Ahh no such thing , Sony No do updates , You Void Warrenty! We do nothing." So after we had a long talk and he started asking me questions for my account i simply blew up and said "Listin to me you cool , THERE IS SUCH A THING AS SEUS! GO BACK TO WERE EVER YOU nice CAME FROM!" and i walked out of the store in fury.

I then went to another store and they told me to goto were i bought the phone , I went to that Vodafone store and asian dude told me " You can either give it to me or The service across the road from A place called "harvey norman" The thing is if i give it to him he works till 6 on weekdays and 8 on thursdays and it will take about 2 weeks to get it done becuase of many other customers , Or i give it to the service They dont work on weekends and they are open till 4:30 on weekdays and 8 on thursdays. I cant make it to that store becuase work finishes at 5 and also i may have to pay for it at 'the service store' but since i hav warrenty these guys do it for free watever i do.

I think about it long and hard and decide to give it to the asian dude becuase he has served me pretty well in the past.

Now im stuck with a nokia 6610 i think it is.

branded phones may have some problems but u should look at forums before u go and try an update and also see if there is an update for your phone


i only use unbranded sonyericssons and its worked like a charm no problems except for the k750i joystick dirt problems that i got rid off when i take it to the service center and they fixed it in 10 minutes

I had that problem too. And after a research on the internet have found a solution for stacking on the update progress while it downloads software updates from the internet. So that means you can't come over the menu where you choose your country. I have solved that by changing all my regional settings to UK. All setting you see in you regional settings should be United Kingdom and than you can come to the menu where you choose the country you are in. And after updating my phone I have changed it again to my home country. I don't know why but it works only in that way
