that may be true but you don't get anything in this world unless you pay for it first. i don't know anyone who would send a phone without payment first. no problem still available

But mate a trusted trader isnt gonna pay upfront every1 is going to expect you to send 1st as they are not gonna take that risk. I was once new and had to do the same. Same with you. You have had the phone for sale for over a month and you still have it. Doesnt that show something? The price has dropped heavily since month ago but anyway good luck with selling it

Sorry to butt in but Doctorwa, whats the problem? Eveyone like ridhaz said had to send first or whatever the first few times they dealt on here, that way you gain respect and you gain sum referances which then will give you an advantage as then you maybe will be able to say to an other member with no refs that they have to send first or whateva, either way to sell on here your either going to have to give in and send first or possible meet up as a lot of people have been scammed on here from newbies like you and dont want to be again

Totally agreed with scott! I have to send my items in the first few time when i start trading in Esato. I will always ask for payment first when the buyer is new or no referenceat all. This is a way to protect ourself! Free bump 4 u as well! Cheers!

While some deals may be agreed that way it is CERTAINLY not a standard across the board and it isn't a rule set in stone either.
How on earth did anyone complete a deal before the start of the Trusted Traders list?
While I am delighted with the huge success of the A-ZoTT it shouldn't become the biggest deciding factor. It is much more civilised to discuss the whole deal with the seller and try to reach an agreement rather than basing everything on a higher feedback score.
That said I do agree that it is sometimes a good idea for a new seller to send their item first BUT only if they are happy to do so and they trust the buyer. If either party is uncomfortable then the deal should not go through.
Nobody should be demanding that sort of format for the deal or making it out to be some sort of rule round here
