So basically there is no way to create a password of your choice, it has to be a load of random numbers and letters?

well, as I was saying, you can create the hexadecimal key yourself usually but I tend to just let it generate one for me

Any advice on my earlier question please?
I have 3 email accounts that I tend to use the most.
1. Vodafone over gprs with phone and T3.
2. University account which is a dial-up account.
3. Internet providor through broadband..
I do have Hotmail too but don't use it so much..
Are there any restrictions or 'things to know about WiFi' when wanting to access these accounts? Should I be able to access all through WiFi with no problem ?
Thanks again!

In answer to your question I use my K-Jam to pick up pop3, hotmail and work webmail over wi-fi and I've never had any difficulties.
Hope that's of some help.

thanks Ben.Cook!
My most important account is a dialup account.
Are any of yours dial-up too?
This is what will sway my decision to buy a PDA with WiFi..!

Coxy,
I know diddly squat about WiFi.... so I asked the question.
I guess then you are saying that WiFi can access my IMAP in and out mailboxes...
I guess too, that I do not need to bother with the dial-up connection part, but will have to configure a WiFi connection..

I have just tested connecting to my Runbox account using IMAP rather that POP which I normally use on my K-Jam (which runs Windows Mobile 5)... and it works fine
Sorry should have said this was all done over wi-fi rather than dial up

Thanks very much Ben.Cook!
I am sure WiFi will be good for me.
Now to check out any hiccups etc with the Palm LifeDrive. I have read some stories about the small Hard Disc failing....
Thanks again!
