Haha alright ok. You are arguably defensive I might add though. I don't see why. I had the PS2 up until recent I
was a PS2 fanboy until I stuck my neck out and traded the old thing in.
I've not got a bias towards the 360 now but would say the only reason the PS2 is still winning in terms of sales figures is that the youth below me and families are buying up the cheap second gen consoles.
£119.99 for a slim PS2 is very good value and I'm not surprised but I guess the really enthusiastic, eccentric and hardcore gamers and also people wanting the next gen so soon are buying the 360 at £209.99 or £279.99. You can see why sales figures may still be dominant of the PS2.

), i mean i haven't played my ps2 since christmas. still standing strong and playing fine though, have original ps2 from near beginning

I think its worth the wait for the ps3, its being released a year after the 360 and sony may decide to put a few more gizmos in there..they prob wont cause from that article it seems like one excels where the other lacks and vice versa.
contest between the ps2 & 360..there isnt lol, 2 diff gens so dont work imo
gotta say tho...these things may actually replace pcs soon...not that microsoft wud have a problem seeing as 360 is theirs...
anyway...playstation rocks

Haha well exactly, you've just contradicted yourself and explained my opinion.
There is a work imo
The reason of the 360 being better is obviously the generation gap.
Due to the PS3 not yet being available the 360 has to be compared with the PS2 imo.
And also imo the 360 is still fantastic, furthermore imo I still say get the 360 and if you're unhappy and really can't accept one minor change then sell it on. Otherwise see how being narrow minded towards a tiny little piece of electrical equipment causes a handicap in the fact you have to wait for the next generation of gaming rather than experiencing it now

i think that they will too... ecspecially the ps3 will anyway, the 360 may get better with new games, but at the moment high end pc, maybe just below, but that still rocks thats for sure. but despite the little time that consoles will have over the pc's, we can be sure that as consoles advance, so will the pc's, soon they too will be working with ps3 graphics, perhaps even further... if thats possible lol.

amazon are very reliable and their prices are usually very good as well... they beat shop prices for sure, also you know your getting a quality product as well in excellent condition.

lol dont actually see how i contradicted myself, was just trying to get across that you cant have a contest between 2 diff generations of consoles...its like me comparing my ps2 with my megadrive - a contest wud defo not work lol
Anyway, as far as I know the release date for the ps3 is Nov '06, then we can have the showdown..360 vs ps3!
Dont get me wrong, am not shooting down the 360 cause honestly speaking I havnt even seen one in the flesh yet, just that when the xbox came out..it was huge! along with the pad and got some gettin used to....so when i think of a 360, all i keep picturing is a big @$$ microsoft logo on a huge box
lol jus being stupid, will have to wait n see which is worth the dosh in Nov!

Its getting hot in here isnt in lads. The only way to settle this is to wait for the release of the PS3 and see if it does beat the xbox in terms of gameplay and sales. I still say Playstation has the advantage due to the games only being released on their consoles which will include Metal gear Solid 4, the new Gran Turismo and maybe the new Tekkens which i feel are being slightly being overtaken by the dead or alive series on the xbox.
Im still waiting on Sega to bring something decent out because i felt the dreamcast was a real disapointment. Megadrive was awsome
