d-pad nothing to write home about - it squeeks, is not that responsive and im beginning to think the joystick is a better design!!

your's squeaks???? that's too bad.. my has had no issues so far.. .. everyone has their preferences

One BIG complaint I had about my K750 was that I couldn't assign RINGTONES to different PROFILES.. this was a major set back for me. Does the w810 also have this "bug"
this is my problem - On my T630 I had a profile called 'SLEEP' in which the ringtone was soemthing smooth and low, on the K750 you have to keep the SAME RINGTONE for ALL PROFILES!! this really pissed me off.
someone please check your W810 and get back to me..

i just checked it and no it doesnt have that option on the w810i.. which kinder sucks when i change profile and stlll same ringtone..
i think the w810 is better just because of the Dpad instead of the anoying joystick, on nearly all my se phones had problems with the joystick and just about every costumer comes in had this problem too.
so i guess that
add: is Dpad, nicer looking colour, better and updated UI, keypad and LCD
the bad side would be; battery life is abit poor, maybe needs firware update, and also the walkman logo stuck on the bottom of the keypad will come off when you phone is hot or under the hot weather eg in the car... just like the k700 with its rubber stick pealing off..
personly iv bought a new w800i housing and i still use it.. very good phone overall too.
