Does the phone work OK before u put the memory stick in??? If so then the fault must be with the memory stick.

Ok I noticed something... On my cousins k750 in the screen where you see the Firmware version it says Camera version 4.5 and for mine it doesn't show anything about the camera in the firmware screen

huh... thats odd, I got a nail clipper and stuck it slowly inside the memory stick hole and it made the screen start flashing again

It sounds like it has had a bad firmware upgrade, quite a few people here on esato had this problem.
E mail se and ask them where your nearest service center is.
