> w810 lights on in macro keeps flashing
Bookmark topic
Took my flashing w810 back to vodaphone to get it replaced. The first two replacements had the same problem, the third one worked and still seems to be ok a few days later.
The people in the shop hadn't seen this problem before but were going to test some more of the stock and then hassle SE about it.

When i like to set a ringtone or smstone it does not play once i hover over the option/sound
quite annoying; now i've to select a tone, ask someone to send me a sms to hear the sound

over the air - shit i wish my v600i had that...yeh i would try updating, no harms done if it doesn't update is there? - but i'd check around to see what firmware is the best for the w810i at the moment though before doing, but if you can just see whether there is an update without updating - yeh try it...but i'd check with other w810i users to see which one is the best in there opinions first, or if you can't find any bugs in your current firmware then DO NOT upgrade!
hope this helps
