> W810 better than K750? or vice versa?
Bookmark topic
What exactly happens to the W810i after a month? I need to know, because I've had mine about that time and nothing has happened yet!!
I presume you refer to the lack of a lens cover, but how many cameraphones have them? I've never had a camera get ruined, and my first cameraphone was four years ago - and god knows how many I've had since (or have right now).
The lens is recessed by a long way, and the sensor is tiny. It would have to be SERIOUSLY damaged to affect the picture - and how much is a replacement back cover? £15-20?
As for the screen size, I don't think the extra size makes the images look much blockier - but some old wallpapers that were saturated to look better on the duller K750/W800 screen look pretty poor on the W810i. Take any picture and keep it as it is, or use the photos from the camera, and I don't think I'd say it's any worse than my W800i. I much prefer the high contrast, increased brightness and improved saturation. Like it or not, that screen is going to filter down to even the entry level models in due course.
