i charge at any stage i either plug it into usb port to transfer files and it charges up then , but i charge it up when it dies every weekend.

It is not normal to charge phone 10 hours. There can be many reasons for this faulty.
- battery is not original
- charger is not original
- GDFS calibrations are damaged

i dont think it matters how long you charge your k750i as long as you dont leave it for days on charge .
