I'm satisfied with performance, but they really could improve the design (without sacrificing performance, of course) and also some better build quality. those joysticks are giving a bad name.

Yeah, SE phones can be boring looking so I agree with everyone on design improvements.

Feature wise, a bug free calendar is absolutely essential.

A second recurring alarm would be nice.

and finally some control over how long the phone stays backlit and duration until screensaver kicks in.

With connecting the phone with usb, I prefer the k750/w800 style were you’ll get to receive calls and send text messages while charging your phone and transferring files at the same time. I really don’t know why for some reason or the other they changed this with w810

beacse u can get into the fone memory

I'd like to offer what few things Motorola has done right:

easier camera controls
reliable phone-to-PC direct USB connections that don't 1) require the phone to reboot and 2) cause the phone to crash
standard USB 5-pin mini-B port/cable instead of proprietary \"fast-port\" connector/cable
standard/mini/micro SD memory cards, instead of pricier and less common memory sticks
faster and more competent warranty service in the USA
more pocketable phones

I have to agree on the materials and build quality comments above. My S710a seemed cheap compared to the Moto V551 before it. My W810 is better, but lacks the amazing finish of the V3i it replaced.

Finally, I want the camera responsiveness to improve in low-light conditions. This was a problem for both my S710a and now my W810 - they refresh too slowly to take decent pictures. The slightest movement of the phone from pressing the shutter button renders the image uselessly blurry.
