i was told the 26th by 02 but they wont let u pre-order an upgrade even tho you can pre-order it on a new contract, me thinks monday morning ill be playing hell.

same thing happened with my k750 by the time they were out i had to wait for another 3 weeks while they got the next batch in, arses!

I'm having this same problem, got the tariff updated to a fantastic deal but can't get the phone I want. To stick up for them though they do have different stock for upgrades and if you ask them to put on the text message alert you'll get a text the minute it gets put on the upgrade order system.

How'd you manage that? O2 won't even give me the phone.

That's a remarkable deal!? What contract were you on!?!?

I have been talking to O2 about my upgrade this morning. There are few things that might interest other members:

- O2 UK will be releasing the K800 on June 26th (as has been mentioned by some other O2 users here)
- The default upgrade price is £179.99 on my cheap (£19pm) Online 50 account!

I was first offered it for £119.99, but was not happy with this - after all, I can get it on Pre-order for £49.99 online and also get £35 cashback from Quidco, making it an effective £14.99 upgrade.

I was put through to cancel my contract and get a PAC code and was told that they couldn't offer the phone for a cheaper price, but they could change my tariff from £19pm to £9pm, effectively repaying the £119.99 initial charge.

I am happy with this deal - it saves messing around changing numbers. The details have been saved in my Notes and I need to ring back on June 26th. My contract therefore works out at:

SE K800 + 50mins & 500 texts (possibly this will be reduced to 200 to match the current Online 50 deal)
£119.99 upgrade charge
£9pm for 12 months

Total: £227.99
