@feco..i do own a multitude of phones..just prefer using my 6630(3g) or pc for browsing(broadband)..only tend to use my p910 for music/work purposes as the 7k/sec browsing is utterly painful..yet such a delight ;-) This message was posted from a WAP device

I have owned the T68i, T610, T630, K700i, K750i & W800i and the only one i have ever NEEDED to do a firmware update on was the K700i as i had trouble recieving texts on the o2 network in the UK. So either i have been very lucky or SE actualy produces very stable phones is my experience!

Well of course if you only use your phone to make or receive calls.
But that's not what phones are made for today, is it?

As fas my experience goes, i can say boldly that the K700 is the least buggy fone ever. The award for the most buggy one is taken by the K750, although it also tops my fave list!

K700? I think we need to judge the phones based on when they JUST came out because I recall the K700 receiving so many revisions but I bought mine in Feb and got latest version so I wouldn't say It's the buggiest. Let's compare the phones as they came out. This message was posted from a Nokia

I have not had any problems whatsoever with my K750 and the S700 was equally stable.

It all depends on how quickly you got the phone after release and whether it was a new architecture (e.g. T610, K750) or just a derivative (e.g. T630, W800).
Most new phones have some problems when they were first released - e.g. with the K750 R1AA used to crash quite frequently - mostly just reboot but sometimes hang. The first new firmware fixed this problem and it has been very stable since, although there have been minor problems with most new firmware releases.

Generally speaking, more modern phones have more bugs, but that is just because they are far more complex, have many more features and interact with more peripherals (e.g. BT headsets).
