I get a maroon coloured screen for about half a second when opening the shutter on my k750i, always done it....it looks like it's just the camera powering on. I wonder if that's moddable to change the colour

I cant mod myphone anyway since it's CID49 and the only thing that can flash it is SEUS. Shame

normally it's for a second but when on the lagging nightmode goes maroon for about 2 seconds.

It's not a problem though...I grabbed my mates w800 and opened the shutter, it does the same as mine.. a maroon screen for a second or less, then the camera comes on...

are you looking to change the colour or something??


I'm guessing it's the application's 'overlay' that the camera driver outputs to. It boots up first, then activates the camera, which outputs to the screen where this maroon colour is.

I have a K750i and have always had the maroon screen when i opened the camera, i thought it was normal and just got used to it. I have the W800i firmware on the phone now and don't get the maroon screen anymore, but i've only just noticed since it was brought up in this thread.

when i open the shutter its black then a second of maroon then the camera works, if there is a way to remove it or at least to the black ill be happy
