> Dialing problems on T-Mobile?
Bookmark topic
I live in San Diego and I have a T300. I have seen similar problems wit dialing. I have to dial a couple of times before it connects. I believe its got to do with the software. Don't know for sure.

I had the same problem with dialing on SE t68i. Now i switched to Samsung S105 and all the problems are gone. No more delays. So i guess it is a phone problem

I called T Mobile and they confirmed that *they* are having problems with the tone signal resolution. This has been going on "officially" since Feb 6 2003, but I suspect it might be an older issue. Anyway, they know about it and have committed to have it fixed by Feb 10 2003. Let's hope they are right about the fix date as I am expriencing the problem on and off today.

This appears to be tower specific for se. My t28 had the same problem. My wife's Motorola connects consistently. It is controlled by a different tower.

This is in NYC.
Another connect problem: ATT shares towers with T-mobile as they set up their gsm network. I now have to use a manual select network to avoid interference. So far ATT has stronger signal penetration, into areas where I cant get a signal.
Anyone else have this problem &/or a better solution?
