Hi all my N70 on T-Mobile is
V5.069.2.0.1
01-03-06
RM-84

I believe this is the latest Firmware avaliable but as Orange and 3 both seriously modify their phones software this might be the cause of the problem as have custom MP3's for call , e-mail, messages and even the alarm with no problems at all.

I've gotta say, the branding from 3 doesnt seem too bad, compareds to others, its only got a wallpaper and a shortcut to teh site.

Do you think theres some sort of copyright software preventing it from happening? Like i said, I downloaded this from 3's website...

Can use other MP3's on my phone as ringing tones, message alerts etc...

Cheers

Mines branded, but not as heavily like a Voda or Orange, its only got a menu option and wallpaper.

Well I transferred a Coldplay tune from my K750 to the N80, which was put on the K750 by my Pc without copyright protection, and guess what....It works.

So I reckon it must be that 3 prevent you from using certain downloaded songs from their site as ringtones...

Cheers

My N70 is O2 Branded. Well Start Up is certainly. I did delete the Family Group option and it has started doing since then.

Does that help you Boba?
