My argument is autofocus should be essential now- it's real pointless having a camera but not being able to take snapshots of objects, but just far away things, im sure thats wot most people want n e wayz (like if u wanna take a pic of something you've just bought to ure mate via mms).

Just like in the beginning only a few fones had colour screens- now all have them, and some had bluetooth and now all have it (or the majority definitely do). We all expect these features and i think we should all now expect to have autofocus too.

I forgot, to sum it up- no, i'm not getting the W850i!!! (Plus, i think it's ugly)

I'll be getting it, really looking forward to it. How much difference does the auto focus really make, all i really use the cam for is contact pics and drunken nights out anyway!

Regarding the flashing LED's, i would have though that there would be an option to turn them off?

Any one heard when the phone might be out in the UK?

i wont go buy that w850, im satisfied with my w800, and there is not much to hype about it, bluetooth stereo so what? version 2 walkman? yeah right, the 1st version may have bugs but it is eventually fixed (by Esato members : aksd, for the no hiss files) and the video recording tweak for better video capture, and many more, th

to some it up, w850 is like the w810, minimal upgrades, a few cosmetic touches and BOOM, a new handset.
wouldnt buy it.

I wish SE wud make their fones all rounders. They have the right stuff (vid still lacks), they need 2 stop 2 much splztion. Pple want their fone 2 "do it all" ... Only reason I wudn't get it. I c the advan. in K750, wudn't want 2 lose it.

A little bit off-topic but.... Since when talking/writing like you're retarded is "cool"?? I actually think it takes more time writing with that kind of "acronyms" -and I'm using the term VERY loosely- than just use good old plain English. Thanks.

Anyway, even though its camera doesn't have autofocus, I think I'm actually getting a w850. I found myself caring more about the music player than about the camera. I mean, I use the player of my K750 everyday, whereas I rarely get to use the camera. And I only have a 512mb MS, imagine the cool player of the W850 with a 2GB one!!! I just can't wait!

I dont know why people hype the auto focus? How many phones have it? No nokia, no samsung, yet. Plus, it doesnt really make a lot of difference, if you see it realistically.

I agree, it doesn't make that much difference at all to the snaps.

I tend to have mine off because it is simply quicker to take a picture and like Victor, I use the player more.

One, of the best things about the W850i is the new version of the player included for the 1st time I believe

Is it possible to turn off AF in W900?

@andrewkeith5, QVGA and victorh017

I believe the three of you are rather jumpy and stupid. I have already made a reply @driftmania about why I had to reply in the thread the way I did. Did you three upstarts take the time to read before posting such rude comments? Do you think you are the only ones with brains?

How dare you try to demean my intelligence by talking about knowing how to form syllables? Not that I had to give a rationale for anything I do on this site but I did and I think if you three boys read that before making such nasty remarks you would've understood.

Darn repulsive!
