that's why I've noticed that even claims that it is USB2.0 it didn't come close to the speed I get from a card reader. it's way faster than a K700 but it should've been faster since you can transfer big files if you have a big memory stick.

Out of topic but I think this is important:

I just want to clarify the use of the units for transfer rate. They are usually rated in bits per second or bps, i.e: Kbps = kilo bits per second, Mbps = mega bits per second. Note the small "b" that means bits. Sometimes it may also be written in bytes per second, which is confusing because 1 byte = 8 bits. I don't know the standard but I think bytes per second is written as "Bps", i.e.: KBps = kilo bytes per second, MBps = mega bytes per second.

USB 1.1 is 12Mbps (mega bits per second) which can be also expressed as 1.5MBps (mega bytes per second)

yeah sorry 'bout that - typo - I meant to write 1.5MBps. You are right the big B is bytes, the little b is bits. The standard is by no means ratified by all players - so there often is confusion. The Big B little b is the best standard to conform to IMHO.

Still lets hope it's a firmware thing as the K750 transfers at the right speed, or maybe a usb cabel driver.

I'd say it has to be a driver issue - surely it's not intended.

Yes, but those factors couldn't be the cause for the slowdown of the transfer speed of the two phones. He's using the same system and same cable on different phones.

Has anyone come up with the solution yet?
(as max wedge stated usb1.1 can't be guilty for this, since transfer speeds are WAY lower than usb1.1 speeds)

I also think it has something to do with the data cable, coz i tried transferring stuff using the cable i got with my P990 and it is slightly faster than the W810 cable, might be sumthing to do with that chunky thing in the cable???
